In order to pick up a vehicle that was placed into impound by a police department. Follow the steps below to get a vehicle release.
Step 1. Obtain a vehicle release form from the police department that impounded your vehicle.
Contact the police department that impounded your vehicle and see what documents they require for a vehicle release. The documents normally required are proof of ownership and a state issued ID, but can vary depending on the police agency.***If you need documents out of an impounded vehicle, The registered owner of the vehicle can come in during regular business hours to retrieve documents from the vehicle.
1. Bring the police release to our office at 1946 Fairgrove Ave. Hamilton, OH 45011.
2. Pay the impound charges (call for charges) *Cash only on police impounds

Saturday: 9:00AM-12:00PM

Yes, the registered owner of the vehicle is able to retrieve personal property from the vehicle.
Under Ohio law, we are required to send a certified letter to notify owners & lien holders that the vehicle is in our possession.
Upon prof of ownership, vehicle owners have 30 days to retrieve personal property from impounded vehicles.
Vehicles are considered abandoned after 60 days, unless arrangements are made to extend the storage term.
